Cassidy Razvan Grecu

In loving memory

Cassidy Razvan Grecu

March 31, 2025 — August 21, 2026

Cassidy Razvan Grecu, 16 months old, passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents at home August 21, 2026 after a 10 month battle with cancer. Cassidy was born March 31, 2025, to parents Iulius and Amanda, their first and only child.

Cassidy had ocean blue eyes that captivated everyone he met. He commanded the room with his presence, often calling for attention waving a straw or a spoon— the bigger, the better! While his most common activities included nature walks in his stroller or on his hip seat, and lake and beach days playing on a blanket with Mom and Dad, his favorite activities had to be ones where people gave him attention. Airports and restaurants were life! So were his binkies and blankies! He had the utmost resilience, smiling and laughing nearly every day through his difficult road. Nothing could get this kid down.

At home, he loved spinning in circles on his bottom, playing peek-a-boo, putting his tools back in his tool set, playing with his dump truck, and reading his favorite lift-a-flap book MEOW!, which he would finish by giving himself a big kiss on the mirror on the last page. His favorite show was The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which brought him great comfort through his hard days.

Cassidy is survived by his parents Iulius and Amanda Grecu; his grandparents, David and Dana Taylor, and Valeriu and Rozalia Grecu; and his great grandfather, Leonard Dutton; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. A private service will be held for family on August 29, followed by a memorial at the Taylor residence on October 10. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to their GoFundMe to support cancer research.
